Mexico moves forward with smart city developments

Four Mexican cities are joining a Latin American trend by undergoing the necessary processes and changes to become smart cities.
Ciudad Maderas in Querétaro, which began in 2013, was the first smart city project in Mexico and is expected to be completed in 2020. This city’s smart components will be intelligent urban planning, connectivity, and interaction with technology companies, according to a report by Dinero en Imagen.
