ITS DC 2019 will feature programming that highlights the event theme, “Intelligent Mobility: Safer. Greener. Smarter.” In addition to hosting sessions, Keynote Addresses, and Technical Tours, ITS America has partnered with a number of agencies to ensure a comprehensive program and attract a diverse audience.
The National Governors Association (NGA) will hold their Transportation Technology Workshop in conjunction with #ITSDC2019. In addition to dedicated programming, NGA attendees will experience innovative technologies while touring the exhibit hall.
The popular State DOT Roundtable, to be held Thursday, June 6, is open to all attendees and exhibitors and will feature top transportation executives. Participants representing 10 states will discuss their experiences deploying ITS and how to prepare infrastructure to meet and support future mobility demands.
In addition, WTS International will host the annual Women in ITS Breakfast on Friday, June 7. The event will feature a panel of women leading the world of transportation. The cost of ensuring safe transportation, the use of new technologies to improve quality of life, and the importance of female leadership in the development and deployment of technology and services are all vital conversations at #ITSDC2019.
