Brisa, Egis and NedMobiel have formed a new partnership targeting leadership in innovative mobility services and mobility management. Brisa and NedMobiel, founding shareholders of BNV Mobility, will now be joined by Egis, a worldwide leader in the field of engineering, project structuring and operations services.
“Egis is pleased to become a stakeholder in BNV Mobility. The end-to-end mobility services developed by BNV Mobility are an excellent complement to Egis’ existing 2400 km of worldwide road operating and maintenance services, and its activities in developing services for motorised road users under the Easytrip brand” states Rik Joosten, CEO of Egis Projects.
The Netherlands is leading the way with innovative mobility services. BNV Mobility has worked on several successful rush-hour avoidance projects which have led to positive behavioural changes of Dutch commuters. Services which lead to proven sustainable mobility will be deployed in other countries by the stakeholders.
“Brisa is glad that Egis joins us in this new exciting mobility services business, we expect this strong international player to add value to the project. We are looking forward to working together to enable BNV Mobility to achieve its scaling up from a leading Dutch mobility services provider to an international performer”, says Daniel Amaral, Executive Director of Brisa.
Dirk Grevink, co-founder of NedMobiel: “Mobility management is growing in importance; together we can gain leverage from each other’s markets and experiences and create a stronger mobility proposition, both now and in the future.”
BNV Mobility specialises in rush-hour avoidance projects, such as the successful Wild! van de spits service that is currently deployed in the Rotterdam region and already has more than 10,000 participants after just 2 months. Wild! van de spits offers participants a cash reward for peak-hour avoidances in a very congested area around the city of Rotterdam. BNV Mobility also offers mobility services which provide a complete mobility added-value proposition to consumers. This will be bundled in the MovesYourDay service which will be launched later this year.
MovesYourDay is a mobility assistant which leads to smarter driving. By providing clear information about driving behaviour and mobility costs commuters will be able to save money and understand how to achieve sustainable mobility.
